Shirataki noodles are made from konjac powder and are especially popular in Japan and China. The noodles are gluten-free and low in carbohydrates, making them ideal for a diet-conscious diet. Shirataki noodles can be used in soups and stews and in cold entrees with meat and vegetables. City Aroma’s Shirataki noodles are relatively neutral in flavour and therefore combine well with sauces. The noodles contain only 1.5 grams of carbohydrates per 100 grams. This variety is a slightly thicker noodle, which therefore also has a slightly firmer texture. Shirataki noodles are packed moist. Before use, drain the water, rinse the noodles well and heat them briefly.
