Preferably in sesame oil, mainly for the colour. After deep-frying, ingredients have a delicious, crispy coating. With this tempura flour, you can easily make your own delicious tempura batter. You can add other flavourings yourself, such as herbs and beer. Note; adding gluten to the batter makes it less crispy. Tempura gives a different crispy coating than Panko.
