Use Jeeny’s Gula Djawa (Palm sugar) to prepare Filipino rice cakes (malagkit biko), putu cake (rice flour cake), black sticky rice, puddings and many other desserts. Palm sugar tastes pleasantly soft, a little caramelised and less sweet than white or brown cane sugar.
