North South Kemirin nuts 100 g

Kemiri nuts look like hazelnuts at first, but they are absolutely not. This nut is the flesh of Aleurites moluccana tree, but you can forget that. Raw you should not eat these nuts, because then they are ghoulish, but nice roasted or heated and fried by your Rendang for example, they are super tasty. The nuts are mostly used in the Indian kitchen. They are also called candle nuts, because they contain so much oil that they can burn.
